PeerGo — Last updated: March 2026

Verified Delivery System

PeerGo operates a Verified Delivery System using item photos, delivery confirmation codes, and transaction tracking to protect both senders and delivery agents. Optional shipment protection will be introduced in a future update. Delivery agents are responsible for items while in their custody.

1. Introduction

Welcome to PeerGo. PeerGo is a peer-to-peer logistics platform that connects senders who need items delivered with independent delivery agents who are willing to transport and deliver those items.

PeerGo provides the technology platform that facilitates delivery requests, communication, and payment processing between users and delivery agents.

By using the PeerGo platform, website, or mobile application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Nature of the Platform

PeerGo operates as a technology platform connecting users and delivery agents. PeerGo does not directly transport goods. Deliveries are carried out by independent delivery agents who accept delivery requests through the platform.

PeerGo facilitates:

  • Creation of delivery requests
  • Order matching between senders and delivery agents
  • Payment processing
  • Delivery confirmation

3. Delivery Requests

Senders may create delivery requests by providing item description, item size category, pickup address and contact details, delivery address and contact details, preferred pickup time window, preferred delivery time window, and images of the item (front and side view). Senders are responsible for providing accurate information.

4. Size Categories

To help estimate delivery requirements, PeerGo provides visual size options including but not limited to: fits a shoe box, fits a backpack / schoolbag, fits a standard travelling bag, fits a large bag, fits a small fridge, fits a table, and fits a standard single room quantity. These categories are guidelines only and help delivery agents understand the approximate size of the item.

5. Photos of Items

Senders must upload photos of items before delivery. Photos help verify item condition before pickup, reduce disputes, and provide a record of the item's state at the time of collection.

6. Delivery Agent Participation

Delivery agents may browse available delivery requests and accept deliveries based on location, size of the item, pickup and destination routes, and proposed delivery fee. Delivery agents may be professional delivery couriers or individuals travelling in the same direction who accept the delivery. Delivery agents are independent participants and not employees of PeerGo.

7. Payment and Fees

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers such as Stripe and Paystack. When a delivery is completed: the sender or receiver pays through the platform; PeerGo retains 5% platform commission; the delivery agent receives 95% of the delivery fee. Payment to the delivery agent is released after delivery confirmation.

8. Delivery Confirmation

Upon delivery, the receiver provides a claim code to the delivery agent. The delivery agent enters the code into the platform. The platform confirms successful delivery and payment is released to the delivery agent. This process protects both senders and delivery agents.

9. Delivery Protection & Liability

PeerGo currently operates a Verified Delivery System using item photos, delivery confirmation codes, and transaction tracking. Optional shipment protection (insurance) will be introduced in a future update.

Delivery agents are responsible for items while in their physical custody. If negligence by an agent is proven through available evidence (item photos, delivery logs, timestamps), the agent bears liability for the loss or damage. PeerGo will investigate disputes and may suspend or remove agents who fail to meet the platform's standards.

Senders are encouraged to photograph items thoroughly at the time of booking. Agents must verify that items match the uploaded photos at pickup. Discrepancies must be reported before accepting custody of the item.

10. Prohibited Items & Customs Compliance

Users must not send illegal goods, weapons, hazardous materials, or prohibited items through the platform. This includes but is not limited to: illegal drugs or narcotics, weapons or firearms, explosives or hazardous chemicals, stolen goods, live animals, counterfeit goods, and items prohibited by local or international law.

Certain food products, agricultural items, and liquids may be restricted depending on local or international regulations. Senders are responsible for ensuring that the items they submit for delivery are lawful and comply with all applicable regulations.

For international deliveries, senders and delivery agents are responsible for ensuring compliance with customs regulations in both the origin and destination countries. PeerGo acts solely as a technology platform and is not responsible for customs inspections, duties, seizures, or penalties resulting from inaccurate declarations or non-compliance.

For the full list of prohibited and restricted items, including food item rules for domestic and international deliveries, please refer to our Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy.

PeerGo reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts found to be in violation of this policy.

11. Cross-City and International Deliveries

PeerGo may facilitate deliveries within a city, between states within a country, and between countries. Users must comply with all applicable laws, customs regulations, and import/export rules.

⚠️

Customs Compliance Notice

Delivery agents are responsible for complying with customs regulations when transporting items across borders. Senders must provide accurate descriptions and declarations of the items being shipped. PeerGo acts solely as a technology platform and is not responsible for customs inspections, duties, seizures, or penalties resulting from inaccurate declarations or non-compliance.

Senders are required to provide an accurate customs description and estimated value (in USD) for all international orders. Senders are also encouraged to provide the weight and dimensions of the item so that delivery agents can assess airline baggage feasibility before accepting the delivery.

12. User Responsibilities

13. Limitation of Liability

PeerGo provides the platform connecting senders and delivery agents. PeerGo is not liable for delays caused by external factors, losses caused by inaccurate information, prohibited or illegal shipments, or loss or damage to goods during transit where no agent negligence is proven. PeerGo may investigate delivery disputes but final resolution may depend on available evidence.

14. Account Suspension

PeerGo may suspend or terminate accounts for fraudulent activity, prohibited shipments, abuse of the platform, or violation of these terms.

15. Changes to Terms

PeerGo reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of updated terms.
